Yes, it is considered a very safe and gentle form of therapy. Because it is a collaborative process where you are always in control, it is suitable for most people. The therapist's role is to guide and support you, not to direct or command. However, as with any therapy, it is important to work with a qualified and insured practitioner.
This varies depending on the individual and their goals. SFH is a form of brief therapy, so the aim is to achieve results in a relatively short number of sessions. For specific phobias, as few as four sessions may be required. For more general issues like anxiety or stress, a course of 8 to 12 sessions is common. This will be discussed with you during your initial consultation.
Absolutely. Online sessions are just as effective as in person appointments. As long as you have a quiet, private space where you will not be disturbed, and a stable internet connection, you can benefit fully from the therapy from the comfort of your own home.
The main difference lies in the focus. Many traditional psychotherapies focus on analysing the past to understand the root cause of a problem. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, in contrast, is future oriented. It does not dwell on where the problem came from, but instead focuses all its energy on creating a clear vision of a better future and working towards it.

It feels wonderfully relaxing. Most people describe the experience as similar to daydreaming or that pleasant, floaty feeling just before you fall asleep. You remain aware of your surroundings and are in complete control, but your body is deeply relaxed and your mind is calm and focused.
